AI Bloodwork Interpretation Coming December 2025
MCHC tells you how concentrated the hemoglobin is inside each red blood cell. It measures the average density of hemoglobin per red blood cell. If hemoglobin is the “oxygen fuel” inside your red blood cells, MCHC tells you how packed each cell is with that fuel. A low MCHC means the cells are under-loaded (called hypochromic), often due to iron deficiency. A high MCHC means the cells are unusually packed or dehydrated, which can signal certain autoimmune or inherited conditions.
